Paige reached out and held Vernal by the waist at first, mostly to help steady her.

"Don't worry, we'll be able to get far more comfortable once we're back at my quarters," she teased. "C'mon. Let's head out."

She did her best to keep Vernal upright, slowly walking towards the exit. "It'll lighten up soon... don't worry."

Vernal’s heart lurched once she felt Paige’s arm around her waist. But she knew it was to keep her stable.

However, once Paige teased her Vernal gave a defensive growl, she didn’t like to be teased much. Though she calmed down once Paige continued to help lead her out. The Lieutenant willingly followed Paige, trusting her to take care of her.

“ nngh…good. “ Vernal grunted as she followed Paige out. She still kept a hand on her head. But she was beyond thankful for Paige’s help right now.

Paige led her along, checking over her shoulder once before leaving the club.

She adjusted her cloak, took a deep breath, then summoned her lightcycle.

"C'mon; get on. Hold on tight. I'm not about to have you slipping off my bike," she called to her, stabilising the lightcycle with one leg.

Vernal grunted and nodded, her eyes widening once the lightcycle materialized in front of her, the colors started warping in her vision like mad already and rendered her a bit dizzy.

“ Yes Commander “ Vernal grunted and headed over as soon as Paige stabilized the bike.

It took her a while since she was trying to be careful and not fall. But eventually she swung her leg over the bike and mounted it. Only to then hold her arms around Paige’s waist tightly.

She looked up at Paige and nodded to signal that she was ready. She didn’t even bother with her own helmet that she was already so out of it.

"Your helmet, Vernal," Paige admonished-- though it didn't sound like she was teasing her, or even scolding her. It sounded... gentle.

"Not about to risk that, too," she added.

She reached back and pressed the button on Vernal's lightsuit to rez her helmet.

Vernals Eyes widened at the realization once Paige rezzed her helmet on. Eventually the black helmets glass soon covered her face, now reflecting Paige’s helmet in a way.

Shit!-i didn’t even realize!

“ Apologies Commander—“ Vernal grunted. It was clear the alchohol was effecting her already.

Paige shook her head and sighed, but she wasn't disappointed or anything. Just concerned.

She revved the engine, then stepped on the accelerator.
