Lai smirked and flicked her ears, Zeng did have a right to think that . She did say she wasn’t a threat, now that is. But if any blood is near....you’re done for.

“ oh really? “ she mused. “ even small creatures can be threats too. Although that stands to question....why aren’t you afraid and or attacking me then?” she said in a interrogative type manner.

You’re literally the first...why is it..or are you just stupid?....

"Well.. 'cause I trust you, at least for now."

Zeng wasn't really sure what to make of her just yet. She definitely seemed off, but she couldn't place why.

( should some Drama happen? like maybe something comes to attack Zengs village?)

Lai was internally shocked, was Zeng a person that trusted easily?...or..was she naive? She knew the guardian said for now but it still shocked her.

Her eyes were a bit wide and she blinked a few times. Her tail swished as she tried to make something of this situation.

Lai was still shocked, her mouth opened a few times as if she was gonna say something but she couldn’t find anything to say.

Nobody had ever...done that before...it was weird. One part of her wanted to throw the opportunity away but another part of her wanted to keep it. Eventually that part won.

I....what the fuck is happening...whatever...it’s not gonna last anyways. I know for a fact...

"Do you wanna meet the villagers, maybe?" Zeng offered, paws on her hips. "Since you seem worthy of my trust so far. Or at least meet my master?"

Lai kept her ears folded back and lashed her tail once, she wasn’t too fond of meeting other people. You could imagine why.

“ I’ll pass, besides I don’t wanna scare them off “ she growled. Although the master bit did interest her... agh dammit- .

“ sure we could meet mr hoot hoot. I wanna see if they live up to the title “ she smirked. I mean come on an owl?!

"Master Hu, not Mister," Zeng remarked, dashing off into the forest. "C'mon, let's go!"

She leapt from branch to rock to tree and made her way back to the village.

Lai chuffed and twitched her whiskers only to smirk.

She watched Zeng head off and her smirk grew wider. Lai crouched and ran on all fours after the guardian, leaping on and off of trees.
