Chloe had been released on Friday and since today was the day, she was restless. She got the truck ready to go “ alright! Let’s get this party started even got the boom box! Pidge ready?” She asked as she glanced at Max.

Chloe snickered too. She just pictured them hiding underneath a bridge, or was that a troll? Eh she couldn’t remember.

Joyce tilted her head at that only to chuckle. “ I see...well welcome Pidge. So, I see you’ve met these two, they’ve not given you trouble have they? “ they meaning Chloe mostly.

Chloe just rolled her eyes.

Chloe also frowned at Pidge almost as if to say ‘ no you’re not ‘. Though she snickered “ nothing illegal yet ” she grinned mischievously. Hell now she practically wanted to do something illegal!

Joyce was relieved to hear that “ oh good good...I’m glad. And yes that was the thing..” she glared a bit at Chloe in a scolding manner. The latter just smirked.

“ Anywho here you all are..I figured you guys might like something..You also look like you could use some coffee Max “ her tone sympathetic as she sat down the menu’s

Joyce nodded at Max then looked over at Pidge “ heh, I’m not sure you need much more energy, but alright. Will do “ she chuckled.

“ Pepsi?” Chloe asked and Joyce nodded again.

Joyce headed back to the kitchen “ two sugars?” She asked Pidge as she turned around.

Joyce nodded to Pidge and got to work.

Chloe just looked around the area for now. Not really having anything to say for once.

Chloe scratched her a neck a bit and shrugged.
“ uh sooo- “ an idea popped up. “ any neat games lately?” She asked.
Why is this hard all of a sudden?...maybe we’re just burnt out or something?..

Chloe raised her brow “ Mandela who? Can someone give me some more info? “ she asked the both of them. “ the only Alien shifters I know of are..well...none. Now that I think about it-“ she mumbled.

Chloe was interested but grew uneasy rather quick. Only to scoff playfully and shrug it off.

Yeah Max would def get nightmares from that.

“ sounds cool. But pffft, Aint nothing gonna scare me that easily. Cmon show me these skinwalker, doppelgänger, fools and ill show em what for. “ she grinned mischievously. Basically saying ‘ alright bet, show me the game , challenge accepted ‘.

Chloe grabbed the phone with a raised brow. She started with the most common one everybody was watching. At first it intrigued her, but the recording voice was starting to annoy her.

“ illegal? Pffft..try me. Losers. “ she grumbled. I can do worse things than watching this! Tch illegal footage or whatever...crapy scare tactic. Hell even I can find scarier stuff!

“ tch, yeah... “ Chloe huffed out in annoyance. It progressed further, to the face identity part, that’s when she started to get a bit uneasy. She made some faces of confusion and clear unease.

Jump scare in 3 ...2...1 another face popped up and she smirked to herself.

Chloe seemed to notice and or sense it and she looked over at Max “ hey if it’s too much you can plug your ears or something?...I mean we’re not forcing you to listen..” her tone low,concerned and sympathetic.

Chloe immediately stopped the video and she sat it down “I’ll watch the rest later “ she said to Pidge as she handed the phone back to them.

She then placed a gentle hand on Max, her brows furrowed in concern as she looked over. She could tell something wasn’t right..

“ Shit “ Chloe hissed and went to side hug Max slowly so she wouldn’t startle her.
“ sssh shh easy..it’s ok. We’re here “ she murmured.

Joyce had walked back over with the drinks and noticed the distress Max was in as well, so she decided to hold back and wait till it was over.
