Tari gave a bashful blush and smiled only to beam and twirl around in it, her dress swishing.

“ I had it customized actually! And nope she’s not seen it, it was a surprise. Oh I’m glad you think so!” She grinned and studied Lucinia as well. A happy smile was seen.

Wow!

“ you look amazing too! Blue looks good  on you, I honestly thought you were gonna go for purple hehe. “ she giggled and beamed with a closed eye smile.

Lamar beamed like a goof at the signal and headed over to the pedestal.

“ hey edge lord looking fancy “ he grinned with a wink as he caught sight of Masa.

Masa chucked and rolled his eyes “ not so bad yourself Lamar “ he smiled.

Lamar grinned, like Theo he liked to be fancy too.
“ see? I’m good with the ladies annnnnd I can dress fancy too “ he grinned and straightened his tie.

Masa rolled his eyes and playfully shoved him “ get up there you goof “ he chuckled.

“ I will will sheesh. I better see a tear edge lord!” Lamar teased as he called back to him, walking up to the pedestal.

Masa shook his head and gave a shy smile. Maybe.


Bear had been holding the flower basket and was panting happily, he even wore a black bow tie and a black collar. His tail swishing as he saw Theo.
He gave a woo like bark.

"Well this way we match! Sofia decided she'd go for green so she could match Skye," Lucinia chuckled. "Ohh my god, I can't wait to see her reaction. You ready?"

She turned a bit, looking back at her with a grin.

"Did we queue up music for this, orrr...?" Sofia blinked, eyes wide. Her brain was fried from the preparations.

Skye used her arm to pull up the playlist she'd organized. Nothing too loud, nothing too obvious. Just some soft mood music.

"We did now."

Sofia sighed in relief.

Theo gave Bear a few headpats, smiling with closed eyes.

Strix and Erin muttered to themselves about how Lamar didn't look like a priest or pastor of any kind. His body language was far too informal.

Naturally Sofia would slap them both, if she could move further than ten feet on her own.

Tari beamed even more and did a few happy hops.

“ YES! “ she grinned “ I’ve been waiting for ages “ she darted over to Lucinias side only to let out a startled yell and almost fell, she wasn’t great at wearing heals. She grumbled and looked down at them.

“ how do others wear this?....stupid death heels “ she grumbled.

Lamar caught the muttering and just grinned at Strix and Erin, giving them a playful wink and some finger guns. As if to piss them off more.
Ha! If they don’t like that, they’ll HATE what I’ve prepared.

Masa glared at Strix and Erin. So did Wren.

Bear gave another happy woo at the head pats and closed his eyes happily.

Lucinia helped steady her. "It takes a lot of practice," she giggled. "I can promise you that."

She directed Tari out the door. "Now let's make this thing happen."

Strix and Erin looked at him, pure confusion on their faces. Had he heard?

Skye held a bouquet in one hand, and kept her other arm linked with Sofia's, helping her walk down the aisle and up to the "altar". It was really just a decorative pillar that one would find at a home decor store, but Skye thought it was pretty.

The trellis over the altar was decorated with blue and green, soft flickering lights and feathers spread throughout the setup.

Skye gave a smile and a respectful nod to Lamar, and Sofia did the same, grinning a bit wider than Skye had.

After getting Sofia settled, she turned and held the bouquet with both hands, her posture appearing far healthier than normal.

Tari used Lucinia as support and nodded with a beaming smile.

It’s happening it’s finally happening!!

She straightened herself up and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ears and readjusted the blue flower. She took a deep breath and sighed with a happy nod.

Turbo artificial rapid intelligence...you got this! You’ve been wanting a life, and it’s seconds away from being given to you.

Her eyes watered as she linked arms with Lucinia.

Lamar beamed at Skye as she made it up to the stage and nodded respectfully to both the owl and Canary. He was...beyond proud of these two as he held the book close to him. His eyes watering.

You got this man...don’t cry yet...it’s not even started

Masa smiled with pride at Skye giving her a nod.

Wren smiled in pride as well. Her eyes already watering.

Skye turned her head and felt a lump form in her throat. She held back an awestruck gasp.

Oh my god.

She covered her mouth to keep from crying at the sight of her. She didn't even care that Lucinia was there, she could only look at Tari.

She's so beautiful.

So... otherworldly beautiful.

She blinked and felt tears streak down her face, smiling nervously to cover it up.

Lucinia led Tari down the aisle as Skye had done for Sofia.

Lamar caught sight and smiled like the proud brother he was. He was doing his best to keep from crying.

Masa and Wren both turned around to look at Tari. Wren was already silently crying.

That’s my girl she thought.

Masa’s eyes were actually watering. A proud smile on his face.



Tari was awestruck as well, her eyes widened once she saw Skye and tears fell almost on impact. She was....she was gorgeous! The hairpin added to it, kinda like putting a cherry on the ice cream kinda.

Her heart fluttered and it was like she was falling in love all over again.

The music added to the emotions as her lip trembled.

It’s....it’s actually happening....

Skye I love you so much.

She realized she paused for a moment so she kept walking. But her eyes were glued to Skye. A soft smile was seen.

Theo let Bear scatter the flower petals ahead of Tari and Lucinia, hoping the dog would sit at the front as he'd been told.

Skye didn't break eye contact with Tari the entire time Lucinia brought her forward.

Lucinia eventually stepped to the side gracefully and stood behind Tari, like Sofia had done with Skye.

The owl grinned and wiped a tear away, chuckling. "You look magnificent," she whispered so only Tari could hear.

Bear had done a successful job at scattering the petals, his tail wagged high in the air. After he was done he did take a seat and sat the basket down with a happy woo woo bark.

Tari giggled at Bear as she made it up to the pedestal. Her eyes watered and she smiled, a huge blush was seen as she ducked her head.

“ Thank you, you’re beautiful, the dress brings out your eyes well “ she whispered as she glanced up at Skye. She did feel a lot braver knowing Lucinia was behind her.

She picked her head up and cleared her throat.

Lamar smiled at the group, and cleared his throat, opening the book.

“ you guys ready?” He asked softly.

Tari looked at him and nodded.

Bebo had magically appeared in Theo’s shirt pocket as he poked his head out of it. He wore a white bow tie and squeaked happily.

Theo sighed with relief when he noticed the dog did as he was told.

Skye silently agreed with Tari and smiled at Lamar.

Lucinia and Sofia were both silent for the moment, waiting for him to speak.

Belle, Strix and Erin all did the same.

Masa and Wren also fell silent.


Lamar cleared his throat and opened the book.

“ Welcome everyone and thank you for being here of witnessing the union of Skye weaver and Tari smith. I Lamar Williams will be overhearing and officiating these two lovely ladies. “ he said with a cheery smile.


“ Now then, the vows, Skye weaver, do you promise to take care of your wife, through illness and hardships? To be with her till her dying breath?” He asked.


Tari blinked and looked at Skye, a loving smile was seen. Her heart racing at it all.

Skye maintained eye contact with Tari, nodding at Lamar's words.

She couldn't think of anything else except the moment at hand.

"I do."

Sofia held back a squeal of happiness, biting her lip to keep silent.

Lamar’s heart melted, he tried to keep a straight face but it was rather hard.


Tari’s heart melted as well, her eyes never left Skye’s.

“ Tari,  do you promise to take care of your wife, through illness and hardships? To be with her till her dying breath? “ Lamar asked softly as he glanced at the bluejay.

“ I do ” Tari answered without a second thought.

Nobodies gonna tear us apart...never. Not if I have anything to do about it, I promised I never leave you from the start Didnt I?...I never go back on my promise.

It was genuine, what Tari and Skye had. And even Strix and Erin couldn't deny that.

Belle covered her mouth with the back of her hand.

Skye looked at the ground for a moment and tried to swallow the lump in her throat. Her emotions were getting the better of her.

Theo shifted his weight from one foot to the other, waiting to bring the rings forward.

Masa let a few tears fall and cleared his throat, a shaky smile was seen as he tried not to cry fully yet.

Wren was already fully crying silently as she covered her mouth with both hands. She was beyond proud of the both of them.  

Lamar’s eyes watered and a smile was seen.

Tari gave Skye a soft smile she reached out her flesh and blood hand that looked scarred to death, the burnt color was gone but the peach color was very much darker then the rest of her. Her facial expression saying it’s okay.

“ good, and Now, the rings “ Lamar announced as he looked at Theo with a nod.

Skye took Tari's hand as gently as possible.

Theo's face lit up at that, darting down the aisle and presenting them to Lamar.

"Here you go--" he whispered, before rushing over to hold Bear's leash.

Belle gave Masa a playful nudge. She could see the glistening tear tracks on his face.
