Masa ducked his head shyly and playfully shoved Belle back. But he gave her a soft side smile as he looked at her.

Lamar giggled at Theo and nodded as a thank you. He sat the book down and handed both Skye and Tari the rings, he winked at both of them.


Tari had held on to Skye’s hand in a reassuring manner, she looked over at Lamar and smiled softly, reaching out she gently grabbed Skye’s ring to give to her. Holding it gently.

Bear gave a happy woo woo bark again only to nudge Theo’s arm happily.

"Heeeeyyy," Belle grunted, obviously next to Lucinia.

"Tari says hi," Lucinia giggled.

"Hiiiii, baaabe..."

"...She's drunk."

Skye held back a laugh. "I, um... I couldn't tell..."

"The fuck're you two up to?" Belle yawned, speech slurred.

Lucinia tried to explain. "They're in Scotland."

"Scotland?" Belle gasped. "Holllly shit, that's so cooool... get a... get a selfie by the Eiffel Tower for me..."

Tari couldn’t help but laugh quietly, honestly hearing Belle made her feel a lot better.

“ Belle that’s in Paris. But sure, I think that’s one of our stops? We’ll try. I’ll take a picture of the castle we’re going to tomorrow for you to make up for it. And what were you up to? Partying without me?” She teased playfully.

"Ooh, castles are... cool too," Belle mumbled. "Oi, listen, when you and your wife get back, we'll make it four if Luce is in the mood for it."

Lucinia gasped and swatted her across the shoulder as if scolding her.

"OW--! Nevermind, just three then." Another swat. "OW! GODDAMMIT--!"

"I don't think Tari was asking you for that kind of involvement," Skye chuckled, shaking her head.

Tari blinked in confusion at first only to be wide eyed during the half of the argument. She got the idea and she was as red as Belle’s hair in the face. A expression of pure shock was seen.

“ Oi! “ she giggled in a nervous flustered manner, a shy smile was seen. “ Sheesh, does everybody have a crush on me or something...and exactly I’m not even the type-Belle I thiiiink you might need to lower the booze amount, you may have had one too many “ she giggled nervously.

"Oh, come onnn, you're gorgeous, Tari, everyone knows it," Belle yawned, rolling over.

"Oh she's done drinking. I'm trying to get her to sleep it off."

"Well... that's not gonna work until she's asleep..." Skye muttered.

"Key word... 'trying'."

Tari just stayed wide eyed, her face burning at the compliment. Hell she wasn’t used to compliments from Belle so it was a bit awkward. And since she was drunk, that meant she was brutally honest.

I thought Skye was gonna rip her a new one from that- sheesh—but thanks I guess? If I’m even allowed to accept that—-

I wonder what the others are like drunk?..

Somehow I think Sofia with booze isn’t gonna be good...she’ll be bouncing off the walls then have a burn out and crash into the couch.

Lucinia would probably just get sleepy..

“ uh-“ she cleared her throat “ r-right...and oof...I feel bad for her though...she’s not gonna have a good morning if she’s sleeping it off...hangovers aren’t fun. “ she murmured in sympathy.

Skye would have ripped Belle a new one-- but she excused the remark because the latter was clearly close to blackout drunk.

"I'll take care of her, don't worry," Lucinia reassured Tari.

Belle let out a long grumble at that. The effects were setting in.

"I'll take reeeeally good care of her. I love you," Lucinia added, directing the last bit to Belle of course.

"I love you toooo," Belle groaned.

"I might have to head out in a second. You guys sure you're okay?" Lucinia asked softly.

Tari just giggled and nodded.

“ it’s alright, you two go ahead and get some rest, we’re fine here...thanks again Lu “ she said with a smile.

"Okay; goodnight!" Lucinia called, as Skye hung up the phone.

The owl stared ahead, visibly upset. She wasn't exactly wild about what Belle had said.

( Pfffft, grumpy owl. )

Tari in the midst of the awkward silence, still had a raging blush.

I know she’s drunk but like—she thinks I’m pretty?! Genuinely?! Not gonna lie she is pretty too....hell all of em are.

The bluejay noticed Skye’s grumpy look and she gave her a soft smile.

“ Hey now grumpy face, for one she was drunk, and two, that’s just how Belle is. You know, she even called me babe and honey when she first hunted me down for tascorp. “ she giggled “ it was in an antagonizing fashion but still. And I legit think it was just a genuine casual compliment....you know like how others think some women or men are beautiful or handsome, but don’t have actual feelings towards them. Don’t get so grumpy please, everyone knows I’m yours “ she defended the pheonix as best she could.

She gave the owl a neck kiss to calm her down.

Skye let out a soft "mmph" at the neck kiss, melting against Tari's body again.

"I know, I just... I know that... she..." She breathed a quiet sigh through her nose. "...You're mine."

She grumbled a little and hugged her tighter.

Tar giggled softly, she knew how possessive Skye could surprisingly get, but sometimes it was a bit much and a bit scary. Like when she drugged her food once...

“ awwwwww, but isn’t sharing caring? “ she teased in the most playful and cheery tone she could think of. “ drunk or not I still can’t believe Belle suggested that though ....I hope that was the booze talking yet she sounded serious “ her eyes were a bit wide from the left over shock.

Skye grumbled at the sharing bit.

"I didn't share you with that creep in the grocery store, and I'm not sharing you with Belle. Especially after the whole incident with Chris. She belongs with Lucinia, and if she can't see that, I'm doing my part by keeping temptation away."

She wrapped one leg over Tari, scooting her hips closer to the bluejay.

Tari furrowed her brows at that, she wasn’t sure if Skye was trying to be helpful or was legitimately poking at Belle. She noticed the hip scoot and sighed heavily through her nose.

“ Skye weaver “ she said in a rather protective warning tone towards Belle. She wasn’t sure, but she wasn’t gonna have that mess start again. All over fun and a drunk pheonix. Especially towards her best friend.

“ we all know I’m yours. We both know who we belong to. Everyone knows it, she was drunk. I was just joking too, She’s not that person either, so drop it. “ she hissed slightly.

Skye grumbled a little in defeat.

"If we all know that you're mine, why does she make jokes about foursomes, huh?" she muttered, eyes widening just a little. "Look, I'm not trying to accuse her of anything... it's just... I just get paranoid..."

She looked away, but kept her head tucked towards Tari.

Tari sighed softly in sympathy. She understood and gave Skye another neck kiss.

“ I know Angel...I’m sorry...I just....” she sighed softly “ dude, she’s a raging lesbian of course she’s gonna make jokes. It’s just who she is. She knows her boundaries love, I promise. We’re like polar opposites, she makes jokes and I don’t. She’s more open and I’m not. We know who we belong to owl “ she murmured softly in reassurance.

Skye let out another soft whimper at the kiss, defeated, but reassured.

"Okay... okay..." she whispered. "I trust you..."

She closed her eyes and breathed another heavy sigh. "I'm sorry I... I'm sorry I got angry, I just... with getting interrupted, and... the chaos outside, and then that... it just sort of... got to me."

Tari frowned and wrapped her arms around Skye.

“ sssssh...it’s okay love. I understand. And I’m sorry about all of that...but now, the threats gone thankfully...and everything’s back to normal. We have all the time in the world now “ she soothed with a yawn. She reached down and gave Skye tummy rubs.

“....it’s okay....we’re alone now, and you have me all to yourself “ she murmured softly.

Skye let out a small, grateful purr at the tummy rubs.

She nuzzled closer to Tari and closed her eyes, sighing.

"Okay..." she mumbled, slowly scratching the back of Tari's neck to show her gratitude.

Tari smiled softly at the purr like sound and nestled her face in Skye’s hair. She kept up the tummy rubs.

And as soon as she felt the neck scratches she let out happy grunts here and there. A soft smile was seen and a few huffs and puffs were heard.

Skye, to Tari: and i thought it was weird... when SHERIDAN CALLED HIMSELF YOUR FATHER )

Skye pressed as close to her as possible.

The warmth of the bed was beginning to draw her out of consciousness.

"Wanna get under the covers...?" she asked softly, shifting her position just a little.

“ yeah sounds good, am sleepy “ Tari murmured with a yawn, she let go of Skye for a moment, got up and did her best to get under the covers.

She eventually got snuggled in and waited for Skye to do the same.

( YE exactly, the weirdo- )

Skye snuggled in beside Tari, one arm wrapped around Tari's waist.

She pulled herself closer and stretched her neck out so that her chin rested atop Tari's head.

"How's this?"

Tari went a bit wide eyed and melted in Skye’s embrace almost on impact.

“ I’m supposed to be holding you-It’s what was happening before we were interrupted “ she grumbled “ but I like it, youre warm...” she murmured sleepily as she nuzzled close into Skye’s neck.

"Aww, but you're at the perfect angle for both tummy rubs and neck kisses," Skye giggled.

She rubbed Tari's lower back gently. "So... we're even."

She waited to turn the bedside lamp off-- she didn't like being in the dark. Ironic.
