Tari smiled softly at the shoulder kiss, her heart warming. Feeling happy for the canary.

“ Good, I’m glad “ she smiled warmly.

Good...I hope so...and I mean every single word I’ve said

The bluejay grumbled that the head scratches have stopped momentarily but she nodded. She stepped under the showerhead only to yelp a bit and hold her right arm.

“ heh oh gosh-“she giggled “ I’m so not used this wow..” she said in a shy manner.

Sofia bit her lip. "I-I'm serious, you... you look amazing."

She cleared her throat. "So uhh... is there... anything you wanna do? We've literally got all the time in the world."

She looked up at Tari with a bright grin, despite her fangs.

Tari flicked her ears at that and couldn’t help but blush at the compliment, or did Sirens even blush and it was just the patterns cuz her patterns glowed as well.

“ Heh, thank you “ she remarked with a bashful smile. Then she beamed and grinned back at the question.

“ Ooh! Actually yes there is something I wanna do! I really wanna explore the ocean, like all of it! Also Sof how the hell do you move around with this thing?” She asked as she tried to move backward, she tried swishing her tail side to side but it was flawed and she only stayed in one place. Despite the bubbles forming around her thrashing and moving tail.

Sofia noticed the glow, heart racing a bit faster.

"Oh! It's kinda like an extension of your spine, so... think of it like you're shaking your hips instead of kicking your legs. Once you get the hang of that technique, you should be in good shape."

She held herself back from stroking the length of Tari's back. She just... couldn't resist.

Tari blinked a few times at that and nodded.

“ Okay; soooooo-“ she glanced down at the water and tried the hip sway technique. Her ears flicking a few times in frustration, she got a bit impatient and when she got a successful movement forward, she folded her ears back and thrashed her tail rather violently.

This sadly however caused her to do a backflip,the water having splashed Sofia in return, and the bluejay having being completely upside down head first on the ocean. Whereas her sirens tail was standing straight up and bent.

“ AH! OH; CRACKERJACK! “ Tari screamed in frustration then crossed her arms and pouted.

also i am reeeally not doing so well so i might need to take a short break )

Sofia yelped at the splash, then broke down into a giggle fit.

"No; no, that's progress!" she chuckled. "Keep it up-- you'll get it!"

She began to demonstrate. "Like this--"

( uh oh- Is completely okay take as long as you need! Dw ^^ )

Tari felt reassured enough by Sofia’s encouragement thankfully. She turned her head to watch Sofia’s movements. Her eyes widened.

“ ohhh okay! I think I get it-“ she said, as she watched though she couldn’t help but blush a bit. She could see her hips perfectly. It caused her patterns to glow ever so slightly.

Crackerjack- NO! STOP- GOOD GOD-UGHHHH

Shaking her head she turned right side up and started making progress again.

Sofia tried her best to take things seriously.

"Heh, there you go!" she cheered. "It works better when you're all the way under the water, though. Watch me."

She dove under the water and propelled herself further down.

Tari watched Sofia dive down and did her best to follow, she moved her hips to propel herself down and forward.

She struggled a few times but got a swift moment going. She eventually got half way to Sofia and slowly but surely, the bluejay easily got up to Sofia and propelled herself forward.

I got it! I got it! Take that no legs!

“ Sof I’m doing it!” Tari beamed and darted forward past Sofia with ease. She was always a quick leaner with things.

( might be able to dm you about this stuff but i reeeally don't wanna ruin the mood ack )

"Yeah, there you go!" Sofia cheered, swimming faster.

She spiralled around Tari to give her a boost.

"You're a natural. Try using your Meta Runner vision!" she added.

( eeeef is oki- but honestly not in the right head space - I hope you feel better though, remember you got this! you’re awesome! )

Tari beamed, the spiral did actually give her enough of a boost. She thrashed her tail more and it added to her speed.

“ good idea! “ she grinned, her eyes turned to those robotic circles once more, she tried to find the best route or choice of action. And before she knew it, she zoomed forward, bubbles trailed behind her as she swam in a fancy spiral.

“ YEAHH AHA! THIS IS AWESOME “ Tari cheered.

"Woooo!" Sofia cried out, then broke down laughing. "There you go!"

She did a loop-de-loop and darted after her, fins waving.

Her patterns weren't as bright, but they still glowed enough to give off light. Sirens of course could see under the water better than humans.

( oh gosh..I’m so sorry ack-also you got this for tomorrow! I believe in you! Since it’s thanksgiving, But please take care of yourself tonight )

Tari giggled and looked back at the canary, she swimming as if it were second nature. She didn’t even have to think twice anymore. Her red eyes gleaming with joy. She’s never felt so happy and carefree in a while. Ever since prison.

The bluejay giggled once more happily. She slowed down so she could swim beside Sofia.

So—sirens have a song or something right? I kinda wanna try it out-

She took a moment and just decided to go for it.

Tari took a deep breath and sang in a ethereal yet somewhat haunting voice, the same one Sofia used to lure her with.

Sofia came to a screeching halt, eyes widening.

The longer she listened, the brighter her green markings shone.

I hope Skye forgives me for what I'm going to do...

God, I just wanna--

Aaaaaagghh.

Eventually, she mustered the courage to speak.

"I didn't think it was possible, but you got even prettier, and I am trying so, so hard not to kiss you."

Tari paused on her singing and turned to look back at her, she couldn’t help but give a warm yet bashful smile. Her ears folding back in a bashful manner. Even more so once she noticed the patterns, and in turn, her own patterns seemed to glow. It was more so of a blush than anything.


So these things do have an affect! Heh—oh gosh—and oh really?....I wonder-

She decided to be a bit mischevious and give Sofia a tiny playful smirk.

she started singing again. The same ethereal haunting tone. She just wanted to see how long Sofia could last.

Sofia tensed up, then let herself go.

She pounced through the water and crashed into Tari, wrapping her arms and tail around her in a tight hug. She practically spun the both of them around just from the force of the impact.

"God, I love you so much-- you're so amazing--" she squeaked out.

( PFFFT SHE DID. AND AWWWW RIGHT BACK ATCHA ACK-)

Tari went wide eyed at the initial attack and couldn’t help but go into a giggle fit. She returned the hug and wrapped her own tail around the canary. She rest her chin on Sofia’s shoulder and closed her eyes at the hug.

Only to have her face fall at those words. Her ears pointing downward in a saddened manner. Her nightmare from yesterday came crashing through, she still couldn’t help but have some self doubt.

“ You sure?...y-you really do love me?...” Tari asked, her voice breaking somewhat as the nightmare repeated itself. It was rather haunting and traumatizing to her if she were honest.

Her muscles tensed up as the nightmare kept replaying, especially the muscles in her tail. Her fin spikes pointed downwards more too.
