System Reboot ( MR AU RP )

Tari nodded and stood up, keeping the hand on her head.

“ just don’t drink too much, trust me we’ve been there too. “ she advised with a grunt. She let Skye go for now, but honestly, she felt sorry for the poor owl. She’s been through enough and now this.

She took a deep breath and sighed, thinking the other Tari had stopped struggling for now and she let her hand off of her head.

“ Damn if you’ve really fucked things up this time you pest. They’ve been through too much! And you had to go and just dream of the damn sigil didn’t you?! This is all your fault!“ She hissed.

She could tell the Other Tari was hurting from the words, the Other Tari was able to tell what was going on even though she wasn’t in control. It...it was weird. But the Other Tari felt horrible for Skye and she was sorry.

“ Oh don’t pout! You know it’s true you invasive pest. “ Tari hissed.

Tari’s eyes sparkled weakly and she nodded.

“ yeah, exactly. The Triple Threat!” She giggled playfully, trying to lighten up the mood.

But in all honesty, she hoped…hoped Skye would make it.

She looked up at the stage and beamed, then pointed at it.

“ right over there! Soooooo, what song you wanna sing?” Tari asked.

( and then they sing bumblebee )

"Yeah, the triple threat!" Sofia echoed with a grin. She blinked at the question.

"Hmmm... there's a lot to choose from..." she hummed, thinking for a moment. "I can sing whatever, to be honest..."

Tari blinked a few and thought for a moment and nodded in response.

She hummed for a while, then her eyes sparkled non stop with a wide beaming grin.

“ I got it! Bumblebee by Jeff Williams? It’s so cuuute!” She grinned.

( YES YES THAT ONE EXACTLY— )

"Oh, the one from RWBY? Yeah, I know that one!" Sofia nodded, eyes lighting up. "That one's perfect, let's do it!"

She pulled Tari onstage.

Tari squealed happily and ran alongside Sofia.

“ Yeah! I haven’t seen it—-but the music is great! Oh crackerjack I wish Skye were here to see this!” She squealed.

( EEE- )

"Heh, don't worry... we can reenact it when she wakes up," Sofia reassured her, beaming. "Now c'mon. Let's give 'em a show."

She called out to the DJ. "Bumblebee by Jeff Williams!"

Tari beamed and nodded as she stood on stage beside the canary.

The DJ raised his brow, judging them only to shrug and set the song on and hand them two microphones.

Tari grabbed hers and beamed. Practically bouncing with energy as the lyrics showed up on screen.

The rest of the crowd looked up at them in confusion, rumors and murmurs spread amongst them.

“ isn’t that that girl that burnt the city?..what’s she Doing with the blonde..?…” one whispered.

“ eh who knows…feel sorry for the blonde chic though “ one murmured back.

And some just judged the song they were gonna sing whilst others actually looked happy and cheered for them.

Sofia could see that the crowd was irritated and tried not to let it get to her.

She listened to the music and awaited her turn to sing.

She shifted a bit closer to Tari, giving her a warm smile.

Tari smiled back and shifted closer in response, trying to make her feel as comfortable as possible. She tapped her foot a few times and tried to get into the mood.

Tari sang softly, trying to have her voice match to the tune.

Sofia wrapped her free arm around Tari and jumped in once Tari went quiet.

"All the butterflies, and the birds

And they're happy, as they see our love grow."

She smiled as she sang, doing her best to help Tari feel comfortable.

Tari’s eyes sparkled as a nice warm glow was felt.

Gosh…her voice is amazing….I can listen to it all day.

“ We'll sit for a while
As I drink in your smile
It feels like a dream that's come true

Tari sang after Sofia, a smile was seen as she did. Safe to say she felt comfortable and safe. The song also helped too, she couldn’t help but think of themselves with this song.

Let me be your bumblebee," Sofia sang, grinning through the words.

She pulled her arm from Tari's waist, then linked arms with her, and held her hand.

Tari held Sofia’s hand without question. Her heart having a nice warm glow as she heard the lyrics and Sofia sing. Her eyes sparkling.

“ Now the flowers are in bloom
And you've chased away my darkness and gloom
When the wind blows through the trees
And your voice is like a song in the breeze “

She sang, her voice melodic as a grin was seen on her face. She gripped Sofia’s hand tighter.

Sofia continued to sing, moving to the rhythm of the song just a little.

"My doubts disappear, every time that you're near
Clouds seem to run from the sky
The thought of your kiss sends my soul into bliss
I get high," she added.

Tari beamed now standing in front of Sofia bending down just a little bit as she stared up at the canary. Dancing a bit as well.

Tari sang, her eyes sparkled non stop.

The Exabyte goers seemed to be in a happier mood and some even started dancing to them. But there was still a good handful that knew who Tari was and was just glaring non stop in hatred.

But most cheered them on loudly.  

"Bumblebee~!" Sofia finished, beaming at her.

She didn't look out at the crowd; she didn't give them her attention.

She just wanted to focus on Tari.

Tari beamed then nodded.

“ Like a serenade, every word you say
Has me fallin' more and more in love with you~”

She sang, now standing in front of Sofia. Blocking her from everyone else’s view. Her violet eyes sparkling in the multi lights of the Exabyte as she stared into Sofia’s.

Sofia started to dance to the music as she continued to sing, still gazing into Tari's eyes.

"Every day is sunny, tastes like honey
Feel so alive, take me back to the hive," she added.

Tari started dancing as well, swaying her hips here and there.

Tari finished off, her head tilting back as she sang the middle section of the chorus, Then she snaked her free hand around Sofia’s waist in an act of bravery. She brought Sofia close to her and tilted her head back up as she sang the last line, her eyes lidded in a—slightly flirtatious manner.

She, wasn’t sure where she got the bravery from…perhaps it was in the heat of the moment type situation. Or perhaps a form of payback at Sofia for teasing her all the time.

Sofia sang the last part with her, breaking down into a giggle fit at the end.

She noticed Tari's expression and touched noses with her.

Then, she leaned in further and gave her a passionate kiss.

Tari hummed softly at the kiss and closed her eyes. Her heart warmed up hearing the giggles too. But she practically melted at the kiss and nose boop.

She dropped the mic and wrapped her arms around Sofia and deepened the kiss.

Most of the crowd cheered for them, even the DJ. But again…there were still a handful that didn’t like the fact that Tari was there.

So boo’s were heard amongst the cheers.

Sofia pulled back for a moment to call out the naysayers.

"Aw, you mad? Well tough," she shouted. Then she leaned in and kissed Tari again, tongue and all.

She held Tari around the waist with one arm, and cupped Tari's face with her other hand so Tari wouldn't fall.

Tari yelped in surprise at the tongue part, she melted again and wrapped her arms around the canary in a more tighter embrace and returned the tongue part on her end.

She was thankful though for Sofia calling the people out. She cupped the back of Sofia’s head with her left hand.

Once Sofia did kiss Tari again, a bigger crowd of cheers were heard, and some wolf whistles.

The ones that boo’d just glared up at Sofia, some even flipped her off.

Though—you always had one or two that had to say something.

“ She’s a criminal god damn it! She shouldn’t be allowed to be here! “ a male shouted back in a argumentative tone.

Sofia took her hand off of Tari's face just long enough to flip the man off.

Then she hummed against Tari's lips, and returned her hand to Tari's cheek.

I wanna make this last eeeextra long... just to let Tari know I've got her... just to let her know these bastards can't say a damn thing about her while I'm around.

Tari just melted in Sofia’s arms once she felt the hand back on her cheek again.

She let out a lovesick whimper, but she tried to keep it quiet, just cuz they were in public. She held the canary as close as possible and soaked up the moment as much as she could.

She…she just felt..safe. Regardless of the people here. Yes it..it still hurt, but she felt safe.

Eventually the crowd just kinda quieted down, at least the naysayers did. The others just kept cheering and clapping and whistling.
