Tari nodded and stood up, keeping the hand on her head.

“ just don’t drink too much, trust me we’ve been there too. “ she advised with a grunt. She let Skye go for now, but honestly, she felt sorry for the poor owl. She’s been through enough and now this.

She took a deep breath and sighed, thinking the other Tari had stopped struggling for now and she let her hand off of her head.

“ Damn if you’ve really fucked things up this time you pest. They’ve been through too much! And you had to go and just dream of the damn sigil didn’t you?! This is all your fault!“ She hissed.

She could tell the Other Tari was hurting from the words, the Other Tari was able to tell what was going on even though she wasn’t in control. It...it was weird. But the Other Tari felt horrible for Skye and she was sorry.

“ Oh don’t pout! You know it’s true you invasive pest. “ Tari hissed.

"Mmmh, that's my brave girl," Sofia whispered into Tari's mouth before deepening the kiss again.

She kept the kiss going for as long as she could-- but she wanted to give Tari the choice to break away if she needed to.

Tari’s heart fluttered hearing that, hell her legs were jelly at this point and her eye lids fluttered hearing that.

A nice comforting warmth was felt, it…it was like a trance, a blissful trance. She smiled through the kiss and held back another vocal reaction the best she could, though she sighed through her nose.

The DJ looked up at them and shifted in his position and left awkwardly to go for a break. He didn’t have the heart to tell them to stop.

Tari with heavy regret pulled away slowly and looked at Sofia with heavy lidded eyes, and a lazy warm smile, she was too love drunk to say anything and she just giggled.

"How's that for a finish?" Sofia purred. "Need anything before we go to the pet shop?"

She brushed her thumb against Tari's cheek, gazing into her eyes.

Tari’s eyes fluttered closed again at the thumb brush on her cheek, letting out a tiny quiet whimper. Then giggled in a slightly drunk fashion.

“ hehe..was good…and no..heh..nothing really—“ she said, her words a tiny bit slurred.


Though what got her working again was that she felt an empty soda can hit the back of her head, causing her to Yelp in pain and duck her head. Only to cover the back of her head with her hand.

“ OW-OI—“ Tari whined.

“ GET OFF THE STAGE YOU FREAK, YOUR GIRLFRIEND WONT ALWAYS BE AROUND TO PROTECT YOU. YOU SHOULDNT EVEN BE HERE ANYWAYS YOU MONSTER, YOU BURNT THE DAMN CITY!” The male from earlier yelled.

And just like that, the officers that guarded the place went to escort him out, dragging him out by the arms. He was a bit too drunk anyways…

Sofia's body tensed at the attack, eyes blazing.

"YOU BETTER BE GRATEFUL THE BOUNCERS GOT YOU BEFORE I DID, YOU ASSWART!" Sofia screamed in his direction. Then she breathed a heavy sigh, hugged Tari, then cupped the back of her head, where the soda can had hit her. "I fucking hate men..."

Tari tensed up at first at the situation, a bit of anxiety rushing through her system. But she calmed down immediately once Sofia hugged her, even more so once she felt the hand at the back of her head.

It was soothing.

Her eyes fluttered closed again and she just soaked it all up.

“ same “ Tari murmured, her voice weak.

Apparently if I so much as step outside im a target….great…

“ ..C—Can….can we go now…?” Tari asked, her voice cracking a bit.

The escorted male just glared at Sofia in stubbornness.

"Yeah. We're going," Sofia stated. "Hold my hand, baby girl, I'll take you someplace better, alright?"

She gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek. "And then we can go home and... play some more Skybreakers."

Tari melted at the cheek kiss and the words and nodded, trying to relax the best she could.

She held Sofia’s hand without a doubt.

“ yeah s-sounds good. Kitties and Skybreakers sounds really good bout now. Heh, and don’t forget Im the siren this time. “ she giggled, trying to lighten up the situation

“ I love you. ” Tari murmured as she made eye contact. Her eyes welling up a bit.

Other than the chaos, she enjoyed their date. But then again…she should’ve remembered Exabyte was a club full of people from…who knows where.

Sofia blushed at the thought of Tari as a siren.

"I love you too," she murmured, gazing into Tari's eyes. "C'mon. Let's get out of here."

She held Tari's hand and leaned against her, leading her to the exit.

Tari nodded, a warm smile was seen as she followed Sofia. Her hand gripping the canaries hand tight and leaned against her in return as well.

Though she smirked and giggled.

“ did I make you blush again?” Tari asked in a teasing tone.

"Maybe," Sofia admitted, chuckling softly.

She gave Tari a wide grin to distract her from the obvious gay panic.

"C'mon, I wanna pick out a kitty for Skye!"

She picked up speed and the Exabyte's doors opened for them.

Tari spotted the gay panic with ease and her eyes sparkled, a grin was seen too. She giggled as she followed after Sofia, her speed matching the canaries.

“ I so totally did make you blush! Oh you’re not getting out of this Sof! What were you thinking? Tell meee! Kitties wont prohibit your thought process!” Tari grinned in a teasing fashion.

Sofia hesitated, giggling nervously.

"Just... thinking about you as a siren... that's all," she admitted, a lovesick smile crossing her face.

Her imagination began to run wild again.

She decided to spare Tari the details.

Tari’s heart melted seeing Sofia like this, it—it was a whole side to the canary that she loved, she never got to see her like a lovesick mess a lot. Yes she got to here and there but—it was rare.

Yes she was always bubbly and fully of energy but this was different. She loved this side too.

“ Well, I’ll be sure to make it extra special for you then. “ Tari beamed “ and…i’ll do my best, Ive not played as the siren a lot so…bear with me please heh…” she giggled shyly.

She began to swing her hand-- the one holding Tari's-- back and forth a little.

Tari smiled, her head ducked bashfully and chuckled.

“ Heh, thank you, well then. I’ll try my best and make you proud! Nobody does the Siren better than you heh. “ she beamed.

She giggled.

“ Remember when I backflipped upside down in the water cuz i couldn’t control the tail right?” She giggled.

She didn’t mind the hand swinging.
