Helen blinked before averting her gaze even more intensly. She hated talking about it- but it was MJ- one of her own pack. She felt okay spilling.

She took a shakey breath as the emotions came flooding back into her:

"Uh- he-... so..."

She regained her composure and took another breath:

"A few months after I moved here- i got involved with the Kobras and- yknow... me being the child I was made it get personal- but when he found out-..." she paused and her voice went small again "he was the man that raped me... and because of the extent of what- he did... i miscarried two months later..."

She cleared her throat as a singular tear escaped down her cheek:

"Point is-... I cant ruin him from how broken ive become- id rather kill myself than see Sven crushed again..."

She heard the rest a bit after and her eyes trailed to the floor:

"i dont think whatever this is, is more important than himself... hes just upset that things are awkward now..."

Helen was so caught up in not ruining him and her own mindset on men from Copper that she didnt realize his own perspective

Reedly nodded- and smiled hearing that, and she immediatly fired back:

"I trust you"

She then yawned:

"Now can I please go get a hotel room and take a nap- i got no sleep on that fucking roof-"

Helen just stayed put as MJ gave her sympathies- and shook her head ever-so-slightly:

"thank you-... but i dont need your pity- can we- can we not talk about that anymore-... please."

However she blinked

Miscommunication, is the biggest destroyer of any relationship...

Helen nervously cleared her throat after MJ finished

"...maybe I do... but not at the expense of his own"

She however would take her words into consideration. She did not truely believe Sven loved her back- she thought all of that was just him being his pure self trying to make her happy.

She would take her advice- she would have a talk with him in a way when she got back.

Reedly froze upon being hugged- lile Sevin she wasnt a hugger- however unlike Sevin she also wasnt outwardly irritated either- she just didnt know how to react and was a bit uncomfortable- but appreciated the thought.

Afterwards she then stood up and cleared her throat:

"Alright, sounds good- Oh and thank you, I also have backup just in case"

She said, motioning to her gun and badge she always kept with her despite not currently being in police uniform.

Helen noticed her anger- however she didnt acknowledge it. She did t want to think about it. Maybe- maybe later, but not now- not after its been riled up in her mind.

It hurt too much to think about.

However as she listened to the last half- she felt for MJ and Kass- but that line-

That last line-

'youre his other half'... That switched something inside of her- it was like she was beginning to understand now-

"...oh shit-"

However with understanding comes realization- and she was beginning to realize that shes already put him through the emotional pain she wanted to spare him- and she lowered her head and began to silently cry- tears falling down onto her lap behind the table:

"I fucked up... ohh i so fucked up... ohh godd-"

Reedly scoffed at the first part, not wanting to playfully argue as friends do- she honestly just wanted to sleep.

But Kass underestimates Reedly. Yes she had to be saved when they first met as she was unfamiliar wih all the superhuman-shit- but as for combat? Hell she had to go through rigorous training to get to her position, that training wasnt going to waste.

Infact, maybe eventually she could learn a thing or two from the Spider.

However she huff-laughed at Kass's question and rubbed her own neck:

"Yeah- i guess Alastor dropped me there... dunno why tho but im glad they did... If they hadnt- i wouldve been at home... and we all know how that couldve went down had I'd been there... heh"

Helen sniffled and after a minute and hearing MJ- her head popped up. Her eyes were glazed and her cheeks stained and reddened from her tears, however she took a hiccupy breath and cleared her throat:

"...okay..." she softly spoke in an answering tone.

As she was nodding, she stood up from her seat and took a step:

"i know what I gotta do...-"

However she stopped and turned to MJ, before letting a stream of air exit through her nostrils and reaching out, hugging MJ tightly.

She whispered softly as her head was next to MJ's

"t h a n k y o u ... i needed this more than you think"

She then pulled away, only to take a breath before walking out of the shop, on her way back to the apartment.

Reedly honestly was still half asleep, she couldnt really think much. She just drowsily nodded and followed Kass out, her own feet dragging through the fine gravel rocks a tad.

Indeed, Copper and his gang were infact in their little lounge spot in the bar. A little empty too since it was weird to go to the bar in the morning but the Kobras dont complain.

The strawberry blonde was sitting in the middle of his gang in the corner, laughing and being dicks to eachother.

Meanwhile, Helen had eventually arrived home considering it wasnt that far of a walk. However as soon as she opened the door- there was a note:

'Hey Helen

Went out to get Lily some more food
Be back in a few minutes!

- Sven '

Even as hurt as he was right now he was still trying to keep a positive mood- and that just shattered Helen even more

im such a selfish piece of shit- im so so sorry Sven- i can fix this...-

As for now, however- she waited patiently at the kitchen table.

Reedly shook her head:

"Naw- i can walk-"  

However upon her statement she stumbled into Kass as she tiredly tripped over her own foot by mistake:

"oh sorry"

As soon as MJ made herself known, Copper and the Kobras immediatly locked onto her.

Copper sounded the catcall whistle as she marched up to them, and trailed his eyes up and down, checking her out. He bit his tongue with a sly fuckboy smile:

"Hey pretty lady, wanna join us for the day?"

The rest of the Kobras began to laugh and push eachother a bit, keeping an eye on MJ as Copper continued:

"Dont worry- well make sure you have fun..." He followed it up with a chuckle at one of his peers sitting up on the armrest next to him.

This is basically what Copper and his crew did- not a gang for fame or fortune- but one so they could have power in numbers to get what they wanted; women.

Helen wasnt the only one having to deal with this situation either.

Reedly just hummed and leaned into Kass, her version of a 'fuck it, why not, thank you'

After that she just let her head hang as she semi-snoozed.

As MJ aimed the grab, he grabbed her wrist before it could even touch him, and he stood up, uncomfortably close infront of her. He was maybe an inch taller than her- but no more.

He still kept that creepy grin as well as he spoke- a smooth but whispery voice:

"i love the ones who struggle..." (EAUGH EW)

Some other members also stood up at his side, some stayed seated.

Soon- the front door opened and Sven walked inside with a paper bag with a bag of wet cat food inside. After he closed the door and kicked off his shoes he turned around to see Helen sitting at the table- his eyes widened in confusion but also a bit of nervousness:

"Helen-?"

"can we talk...?"

Sven slowly lifted his head a tad and furrowed his brows as he set the bag down:

"You ignore me earlier and now you want to talk-?"

Helen sighed:

"Sven I know- im sorry-"

"youre 'sorry'?" His tone was a little accusing as well- he was onviously upset but still trying to be nice: "youre sorry now, but in five minutes youre gonna be repulsed of me again arent you?"

Helen furrowed her brows. She did go a little far...:

"Sven please- I understand now I just-"

"Understand? You understand? Do you understand that youre not the only one struggling with this? Do you understand that it has been complete and utter hell for me these past few days, because whenever I try and talk to you you treat me like a repulsive monster and them Im stuck all day thinking about it?"

At this point Helens eyes had begun to glaze over as he continued, takibg a few steps towards her, his voice getting a tiny bit louder:

"Do you understand that you are all I think about now? I cant stop, and you outwardly avoiding me hurts"

"I KNOW IT DOES" she cried out as the tears began to fall: "I know it does and thats why I wanted to talk- I didnt realize it at first but I do now!-"

Svens eyes themselves had begun to glaze over- except he dared not let any tears spill:

"Realize what? That you dont feel the same?-"

"THAT I LOVE YOU."

Sven went silent.

Completely silent.

He understood now just from that alone- he visiblly relaxed. Like Helen- he didnt know if she felt the same- his prayers were answered:

"Because I am so s c a r e d of ruining you because of how broken I am from my past and I am terrified of that; of seeing you crushed again- I love you and I have for the longest time but I kept shoving that away and trying to spare you from me but I just c a n t- I just kept crawling back in the w o r s t ways and completely denying that it ever happened or even meant something! And that hurt you more than I ever even thought it would at all and I know im foolish and Im a selfish piece of shit that doesnt deser-"

In the middle of her statement Sven had already walked up to her, and within a literal second he got infront of her, gently took her face in his hands and kissed her.

Really kissed her.

And that-...

That answered Helen as well...

They had stayed there for a bit- Helen still sniffling however she rested her hands on his wrists, holding them.

He had pulled away- however he still kept his face close, looking downwards at her:

"I love you, broken or not..."

Hearing that, Helens eyes fluttered open a little, before breaking out into one of the most genuine smiles ever- however it was a quick one as she dropped in only to drag him back into her as she kissed him this time, which he chuckled through his nose and returned it, wrapping his arms around her and picking her up off the ground slightly only to spin her around.

They were final

They had made it final

JAJDHSKSOSOOSSOOAS THANKKKYOUUUUUUUUUUUUU RAAAAGGAGSGSHHSHAHA-)

Meanwhile as Copper kept his gaze and his grip on her wrist- he had just now begun to see her skin beginning to turn and he had quickly dropped her wrist and backed up- however not quick enough as she managed to grab his throat.

He gasped upon being grabbed- frankly hed find this hot if she hadnt been turning a different color- however he gripped her hand again trying to free himself.

Meanwhile immediatly upon their leader being grabbed, almost the entirety of the gang had quite literally jumped on her to tackle her- there were about ten of them total.

The few she looked at complied with her little trick and froze in place- however the ones she didnt get tackled her to the ground, around four of them or so.

Upon her being tackled Copper managed to slip out of her grasp and stand back up only to catch his breath:

"What the fuck do you want you crazy bitch?"

As soon as Sven put her back down on her feet, Helen had pulled herself away as well, the both of them giddy about this having a good outcome rather than a bad- Frankly it had the best ending either could hope for, and they had smiles plastered on their faces.

Their voices were quiet even though it was just them, they felt it fit the mood. Sven spoke first, still holding onto Helen:

"movie..?"

Helen, also still holding on, nodded her head faintly:

"...movie"

Sven smiled bigger and out of nowhere he picked her up and ran around and playfully threw her down on the couch- making sure she didnt get hurt in the process either.

This whole ordeal just caused helen to lay on the couch face-up laughing hysterically- finally feeling a sense of joy since the party a few days ago.

Sven stayed standing as he laughed along with her:

"Ill get- Ill get blankets" He said inbetween laughs as he jogged over to the little basket by the TV and walked on back.

By now Helen had sat herself up, still chuckling to herself occaisionally, before Sven sat himself down on the corner of the couch, letting one leg fall over the side of the couch and the other one on the couch bent upwards- making himself comfortable.

Helen, once he got set up, snuck in and practically layed down ontop of him, her hand and her head placing themselves on his upper chest as the blanket draped over them.

Sven grabbed a remote and turned on the television to Ghostbusters, only to set the remote down on the coffee table and to wrap his arms loosely around Helen as well as he looked down and kissed her ontop of the head.

Now it felt normal

Neither needed to worry about the other's reaction

They were finally comfy, warm and together.

As Copper began to calm down, he heard her laugh and he furrowed his brows as he looked at one of the members who was currently holding her down. There was a Kobra holding down each of her four limbs, Copper standing over her.

Hearing that first part- caused Copper to turn into Copper again, and he smirked as his eyes narrowed:

"Im gonna have fun with this one-"

However hearing the second part- honestly he still took that as dirty talk and he laughed slyly before leaning over her:

"I wont remember you... but i remember how I make my women scream..."

JDHSKSJS YEAH- HE DONT GIVE A SHIT- IF THIS SCENE WENT ON ANY LONGER I WOULDVE HAD TO WRITE SHIT I DIDNT WANNA WRITE TBH-)

No, MJ's trick then wouldnt do shit to him- as it wasnt humanly possible- however upon seeing her actually begin to shift-

Everybody backed up and off of MJ.

And the redhead was right. He had zero remorse for what he had done nor is doing- he didnt care. He never gave a fuck what anyone else wanted other than himself, which often lead to ruining womens lives for a little chunk of time he wanted for himself.

He always cut them off directly after too.

He never found out that after that day that Helen had become pregnant with his child.

Frankly even if he did, he wouldnt have cared.

MJ and Kass and Sevin all talk about becoming monsters- being monsters...


Not even Noah was this horrible


Copper was a true monster

Coppers eyes widened and he froze as most of his gang left him by scattering out of the bar. He was still, until one loyal member rammed him out of the way before MJ could do serious harm to him.

The ram essentially smacked him back to reality and he bolted out of the pub.

However suddenly, a familiar grainy voice sounded from at the bar, along with the clinking of a glass bottle on the bar counter:

"you break shit in my bar and ill fucking kill you Red..."
