Kass noticed the creaking door sound with a raised brow and a look of amusement was seen, though she nodded at both his responses only to start walking and to follow the group.

“ Yes—please, for more chains….I don’t want her getting loose. And i don’t think the floors will matter it’s just an abandon warehouse…” Kass sighed a Little in slight exhaustion. She stayed by Svens side as Helen lead the way.

MJ however, was proving to be stubborn with that snort, she hissed slightly as she looked up at X with her ears folded back. She was in mid lick on her wounds and didn’t plan on getting up. Again—the wolf was still largely in control at the moment but was exhausted.

Kass did eventually follow soon after, she looked exhausted again, she wasn’t used to staying up this late at night….okay well sometimes she had to when she was super heroing it up but not..that often. This was the first time in a good bit she’s stayed up this late.

She looked over at the chain pile and was—still amazed at how rich Drew was…..but again, she appreciated Drews help with this situation too. She appreciated everyone’s help. She gave the raven a small smile even though she knew the pixie haired woman wasn’t there.

The Panther eventually just sighed and trudged on over to the chain pile along with Sven and grabbed as many as she could. She then proceeded to toss them over her shoulder and follow along with him.

MJ felt the nip and it caused her to jolt st the small pinch, she folded her ears back for a moment only to quickly get up and scurry on off to the warehouse. She shot the tiger a bit of a dirty side eyed look as she scampered off, almost like a scolded puppy would. She just huffed heavily and looked forward again as she headed to the warehouse.

MJ eventually trotted back into the warehouse only to fold her ears back, thankfully X managed to drain her energy otherwise she would’ve definitely fought Like hell to get out of here. She looked over at the chains again and stayed put, this was one last move of hers.

She was as stiff as a board and wouldnt budge but she was Inside the warehouse, all Helen had to do was close the door behind the group after X.


After having literal piles of chains Kass tossed hers at the feet of the wall and just exhaled heavily, she looked up at the metal pipes that lined the warehouse still and figured it’d be good enough, she then grabbed a good handful and began scaling the walls with ease as she crawled all the way up to the ceiling to begin tying them. The chair wasn’t gonna work so this would have to do.

Kass was all the way up the ceiling by now and placed her feet on the roof only start tying the chains she had in her hands against the pipes, this was easy as cake for her, besides, she had Spider abilities after all. She caught Sven watching and she just gave a warm amused smile, she then saw X take a seat somewhere in the warehouse and she felt even more relaxed now and sighed.

MJ flicked her ears hearing Sven only to direct her gaze at him, she just huffed with a tad bit of attitude, even as this…creature..she still had remnants of her human self, the attitude was definitely one. But….the empathy helped, hell if Sven didn’t have a way with animals none of this would’ve been possible.

As the chains began to dangle off the ceiling she looked down at Sven.

“ Think you can tie some off of the bottom of these?” She asked as she looked at the current three she had hanging down. They were definitely Svens height by now so he could reach them easily.

Kass watched only to have an impressed Look on her face hearing and watching Sven break, snap and squeeze the chains apart and together with such ease. Her jaw hung a little too as she watched.

And once she saw the thumbs up she grinned.

“ Thanks! And dude You’re Hella strong im impressed! “ she complimented, however, three chains wasn’t gonna be enough…not for the wolf. She then jumped down from the ceiling and crouched in swift. She was far more agile than him.

“ Okay…just a bit more to Go then we just gotta drag her over here.” Kass sighed as she stood up, she then picked up a few more arm full of chains. “ Ready?” She asked with a beaming smile.

Kass made a ‘ oh ‘ face hearing Havocs mention, it made sense but she still smiled hearing him. But he wasn’t wrong the chains were indeed tough.

“ I see “ she murmured softly, she then heard the military voice only to grin playfully and to laugh. She then placed her hand on her forehead in the salute fashion with the biggest grin ever and she just had to say it.

“ Yes drill sergeant!” Kass referenced with an equally booming voice, she just had to and if Sven got the reference then kudos to him. She just wanted t play along was all.

She snickered soon after and immediately went back to crawling up the walls in swift. She was eager to get this night over and done with.

Kass couldnt Help but grin hearing his laughter, it felt good to hear After Everything. Though she wasn’t sure if he got the reference.

Eventually after Svens help with it all and after dragging MJ over, who was acting like a very reluctant dog if you pulled it by the collar. They eventually got her chained up with the 8 million chains, this time, she wouldnt budge.

MJ felt the chains on her only to let out a depressed whimper and to collapse on to the floor to lay down.

Kass sighed heavily and brushed her hands off only to look up at Sven with a warm smile.

“ Thanks for the help, I know I keep saying it but I mean it…tonight means a lot that You’re here, that all of you are.” Kass said as she made eye contact with Sven, but made sure to have her voice be loud enough for X and Helen to hear too. Her words were very sincere and genuine.

Kass saw Svens reaction only to beam, she understood his exhaustion, they all were tired. She then looked over at Helen and smiled wider seeing her reaction, only to beam again hearing the chuff, she knew a tad bit of animal communication so the chuff just made her happier.

Though she did see the bruises on X and she winced a little bit, she couldn’t have imagined how painful that could’ve felt.

MJ currently just laid her head on her giant hand like paws with relaxed folded ears.

Kass looked back at her roommate with furrowed brows, she remembered how vicious she looked earlier…how—-how she almost died. She felt herself frown remembering that. But—she didn’t want MJ to be alone right now.

The French woman slowly made her way over to the redhead as to not scare or upset her.

MJ whipped her head around to Kass only to snarl slightly, she didn’t—-she didn’t want Kass near for a number of reasons…one, because of the simple situation at hand and two, because she was trying to distance herself more than usual because of what Damien had said.

Kass caught the drift and felt her heart break a little bit, but she was determined…she was determined to tempt fate with this. Her eyes harshened.

“ I’m staying.” Kass said, her voice firm with a heavy emotion,

MJ just huffed with an eye roll only to look to the side, opposite of the group.

Kass frowned slightly even more but was just as determined now, she walked over and didn’t bother being gentle.

MJ looked over and gave the Crow a snarl as her warning, but it seemed Kass wasn’t listening.

Kass took her seat right next to the wolf and leant against MJ’s side, and once she did, she felt just how soft her matted bloodied fur felt. How warm she was……she heard her friends steady breaths and faint heart beat causing her eyes to close. She felt safe…..despite how MJ tried to kill her earlier.

MJ felt the Woman lean against her like a giant cushion only for her to snarl softly, but—as she felt Kass lean against her like that, it made her freeze. She felt how small Kass was compared to her….how fragile….she looked over to see those blissfully closed eyes how peaceful she looked.

And the wolf had to admit…it felt that peace too, how she usually felt when the both snuggled so casually before on school nights. She felt that bond and connection…that pull.

She looked at Kass’s face More and saw that the woman was drifting off to sleep with partially opened lips…her eyes honed in on those soft lips too.

And one word…..one word echoed through MJ’s mind, through both her mind and the wolfs.

And that word—-was Mine.

But…….Damien’s words had cut through yet again causing the human within to quickly try to repeal that single word.

The beast huffed with annoyance and forced her gaze away from Kass only to lay her chin on her paws with a more annoyed and hateful look as she locked those emotions up again.

This wasn’t good…she needed to try harder, she needed to break that connection, that bond for good. And so she will.

Once the two had parted and headed back to their spots and with the Tiger keeping watch, it had eventually turned to morning.

MJ was back normal and miraculously her clothes had stayed put but were even more shredded than before and looked like there was hardly anything keeping it together. She was currently using her arms as a pillow whereas Kass was practically laying her head on MJs back with her arms crossed, and still they both had a peaceful nights sleep aside from the night before when they were separated by prison.

It only proved that them being together was doing more good than harm.

They both remained asleep at the moment, unaware that X was still present.

MJ’s wounds were healed by now completely only leaving scars on her back, chest and right cheek. Eventually the redhead woke up with a soft yawn and stretched her arms out. But—once she felt a weight on her back she woke up with a confusion only to look back.

She saw Kass sleeping so beautifully….so peacefully. The French woman by no was using her own arms as a pillow too. And those lips—those soft lifts remained half open as she slept. They were calling out to her….her emerald eyes remained transfixed like she was in a trance.

She felt her own lips yearn to taste the panthers own….it was such a burning and visceral need that she couldn’t describe. Every fiber in her body needed it…yearned for it.

But her mind trailed back to their first premature kiss..how scared Kass was after, the talk they had. MJ’s heart ached remembering putting her friend in such distress over her own desires….she couldn’t do that again. She needed to salvage this….she needed to salvage this perfect limbo of in between, she needed to destroy these budding feelings.

But as she kept staring at her friends lips, she even felt the wolf desiring it….desiring both things. She closed her eyes tore her face Away from Kass only to cover her face with her right hand to sigh heavily. It was killing her to distance herself….like how hard it must be for Reedly….it’s what it felt like for her only here they loved each other, only here Kass wasn’t a serial killer.

MJ looked down and noticed white paws only to grow confused, she looked up slowly at X with wide eyes, she doesn’t remember a thing from last night. She spotted X’s wounds and her brows furrowed in heavy empathy.

But this still all felt so surreal right now as she finally registered the chains on her body.

“ I didn’t take any pot gummies right—” MJ eventually spoke with a venturing and clearly confused tone as she looked at X.

MJ saw X shift back and her eyes slowly widened at the damage she saw, her jaw dropped and she covered her mouth with one hand rather quickly. Especially after hearing the sarcastic remark…god the poor shifter looked so chewed up right now.

“ H-Holy Shit….” She murmured through a muffled hand. She knew Sevin was no stranger to such things but she felt horrible for it regardless as she remembered the actual situation….of what she was.

But when Sevin spoke and offered the hand, her Heart Just ached even more, she saw how stained that arm looked and her eyes held such a sincere apology. She then tore her gaze away only to look at Kass.

“ ….No…no im not….” MJ sighed heavily as she lowered her hand. Kass remained asleep still and didn’t feel like bothering the poor thing.

She slowly looked up at Sevin.

“ Wanna get a drink after this?….if I didn’t take any drugs I sure need some now.” MJ huffed.

MJ gave A Look of sympathy hearing Sevin say that with an amused smile, she seemed to understand. She nodded.

“ Welp—I know what we’re both doing then…” she stated, basically inviting herself along with Sevin. She needed to distance herself as much as possible from Kass.

That is—After they both get cleaned up.

She looked down at the still sleeping panther and didn’t have the heart to move her.

“ Think you can do one last thing?…” MJ asked as she looked between Sevin and Kass and gestured to Kass again, basically asking Sevin to move Kass for her.
