Chris followed Mara to the office. He beckoned Skye over to him, not wanting to be away from her. "I hope it isn't too hard. " He looked for Zed, which he guessed probably took a break.

Skye scanned the print of several reports. "Say, if you read off the info, and I fill it in, we'd probably get things done faster.."

"Skye, that's the wrong stack. This is the stack. " Chris handed her a smaller stack of papers, which had only twenty or so papers inside of it. He couldn't help with lifting the papers, but he could sign them. "Do you need so help with the other stack of papers? I can try to help with it."

Chris got off of her and set the stack on the table. He began to sign more papers, with one being halfway done. "Zed must have tried to do these. He didn't finish them." He made a small pile of two papers on his right. The bigger stack was on his left, with the paper he was working on in the middle.

Skye sorted the finished papers and made sure to organize them properly, gently sliding them into their respective folders. "I wonder how your new arm's coming along."

Chris nodded. He finished up two more papers and was starting to write faster and faster. He had a look of a nonstop worker. One more finished paper, and he began another one in almost less than a second.

Skye heard him fall and rushed to his side, trying to wake him back up. She was rather exhausted too, she wouldn't lie-- but she was more worried about Chris than her own safety.

Chris didn't say anything. He was asleep, like a baby. Nothing could wake him up now. He needed the sleep, his body couldn't go any longer. His head was bruised, but it should heal.

Chris laid still asleep. He snored quietly. His breathing was a little faster than normal. He looked very peaceful.
